Kristin Scagliotti
They say Pixie Hall was dreamt up one fog-shrouded night in San Francisco by a family of three. Three girls, giggling and whispering mischievously together, declared on that hazy eve that the valley called Noe was missing something magical. It lacked a special haven, a place for the free spirits. A den for artists. A cozy cave for creatives. A well-lighted room for thinkers. A hollow for molders and painters. Pixie Hall.
The three pixies behind Pixie Hall are a spritely trio: a mother and her two young daughters. Kristin Scagliotti, the head pixie (and mother) wanted a place for her small pixies (and all small pixies) to thrive. A home away from home to release their young spirits and funnel their impish ways onto a blank canvas.
Kristin's study and training of art has been a long path leading up to the founding of Pixie Hall. She earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at University of San Diego. Subsequently, Kristin received degrees in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise and in Art Education at San Francisco State University. Kristin taught for San Francisco Unified for 10 years as an elementary teacher, and created the after-school art program at Claire Lilienthal school.
Tori Koneya
One day, Kristin and her two pixies began their search for head teacher of Pixie Hall. This teacher would need to be multi-faceted in her love for all things creative: a lover of creating with clay, sewing, gardening and cooking. She would need to be enamored with the art and culture of San Francisco, and embrace the natural side the bay area has to offer, like surfing and biking. But above all, this ideal teacher must love her role as an instructor, fostering a sense of wonder and as a creativity eye-opener.
And then the red, rustic doors of Pixie Hall swung open and there stood Tori Koneya. The pixies ushered her in and welcomed her to Pixie Hall.
Tori hails from rural Vermont and attended Craft Art Entrepreneurial school with a focus on Ceramic Arts. Tori has an AA in Early Childhood from Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, and a BA in Child Development, with a specialty in the young child and family from San Francisco State University.

Kate Visser
As Pixie Hall began to expand and more small pixies joined, there bubbled up a need for another teacher. But not just anyone, this teacher needed to fit as succinctly as the other pixies did.
That someone was Kate Visser. Kate has earned a M.A.T. degree in Museum Education, a B.A. in Art History and studied Italian in Florence, Italy. She was a Kindergarten teacher in Mill Valley and also worked and trained at several schools in San Francisco. She has two pixies of her own who inspire her to play, create, and laugh every day.
Aleenza Newberry
Aleenza is currently working towards a degree in Early Childhood Development. She has extensive experience in working as a nanny and also spends her afternoons working at a local preschool. She has been crowned the "Ninja of Diaper Changers".
